How can I use Turbo Piranha for selling books on Amazon? (Guide for Amazon Booksellers)

We have many bookseller clients, and they use TURBO PIRANHA for three purposes in general:

  1. They get ISBN price lists from wholesale book sellers daily basis, and they process these lists to catch good deals. These lists may contain a few hundred thousand ISBN, their prices, titles and the cover type (paper back, hard cover, etc.)

  2. They have their own best selling ISBN Lists (mostly textbooks),  and every day they process these lists to catch flip opportunities, in other words buy from FBM and send to FBA to sell). These lists usually contain a few thousands, but some of them may have hundreds of thousands ISBNs (or ASINs).  We have several clients who run between 300,000 – 400,000 items every day in a single list. It usually takes between 8 to 10 hours using our Twin-Turbo model which has double speed.

  3. They scrape a few thrift book websites using some Chrome extensions, and collect the latest prices of thousands of books every day. After collecting these prices with their ISBNs, they process those items and prices with TURBO PIRANHA to find out the best margins and ROI numbers. Based on these numbers they buy those profitable books online and send them to the FBA or sell as FBM.

TURBO PIRANHA gives you several important details such as up to 20 Lowest New and Lowest Used book prices, New Buy-Box and Used Buy-Box prices, total offer count, competitive offers and their all important details, such as conditions of items, whether the seller is FBA or FBM, their feedback ratings etc.

With our new Excel extension, it’s even easier than before because all important data for an item can be seen in a single form which can be open directly from Excel using Turbo Piranha menu and sub menu items. Please refer to this article about Turbo Piranha Excel Add-In to get more information and also watch our video which is recorded for visual learners to show how they can use our tools.

How to flip books on Amazon if you don’t have your own ISBN (or ASIN) lists?

You want to flip books on Amazon but you don’t have any ISBN lists or ASIN lists and you don’t know where to start. We have a great news for such users. We’ve started to share the ASIN lists for the best seller items on Amazon weekly basis.

Most of these lists have 500,000 ASIN information in several categories of 8 marketplaces (USA, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain and Italy). These lists change very frequently so some items enter to these lists and some exit because of many reasons such as seasonal items, new products, increasing popularity etc.

If you download these lists weekly basis, you can have more than a few million items in a few months. All you need is merging new lists with the old ones and removing the duplicates.   Please check these links for more info:
